Terminal Arcade

EXTREMELY EARLY ACCESS · BUILD 0.1. Things are unfinished, some things will break, and everything is still changing.

A green-screen terminal with an arcade inside it. Type a game's name, or open the library and pick one. It runs in your browser, sits in a window, and pauses when you ask it to.

Getting in

Click the screen and press a key. It will ask you for a password. You don't know it. Neither does it. Type anything.

Somebody coming? The SAVER button (or F9) puts the screen saver up. Esc takes it down.

Playing full screen

Esc is the back key in nearly every game, but in a browser it also takes you out of full screen. Playing full screen? Use ` (the key just under Esc) instead. It does everything Esc does, in every game and menu, and keeps you in full screen. Esc will work the way it should in the full Steam release.

What's in it right now

• Last Call: your uncle's pub, four weeks, and a landlord who wants the rent. Pour pints, wash glasses, carry too many empties, ring the bell for last orders, break up the fight, throw them out by the waistband.
• Till Midnight: a corner store on Elm Street, open eight till midnight.
• Spent Brass, The Knight, Terminal Onslaught: they keep coming...
• Fishing, Pinball, Pool, Pachinko, PUTT, Lander, Debris, Terminal Ascent, Terminal City.
• Cards and tables: Blackjack, Texas Hold'em, Solitaire.
• Quick ones: Snake, Stack, Merge, Mines, Hangman, Typing Test, Forklifting.
• Party games for one screen: Intruder, Sketch, Quick Draw.
• Very early: Fare (a cab, a meter, and a city that does not care), Scramble, Counterweight.
• Terminal Radio: every song in the arcade, and a grid to make your own. BEAT plays them back at you.

Mouse and keyboard. Desktop browser recommended.
